All Saints Secondary School, Oyigbo, held its much-anticipated Inter-House Sports Competition on Saturday, 7th March 2026, in a vibrant display of athleticism, teamwork, and school spirit.
The event began with a Holy Mass, during which the school community gathered to seek God’s blessings for a successful and injury-free competition. Immediately after the Mass, the sporting activities commenced with great enthusiasm from students, staff, and invited guests.
Four houses—Red, Orange, Blue, and Green—competed in various events throughout the day. The highlights of the competition included the colourful march past, high jump, 100-metre race, relay race, sack race, and several other track and field activities. The students demonstrated remarkable energy, discipline, and sportsmanship in their respective events.
Adding excitement to the occasion were captivating dance presentations by students, which entertained the audience and further energized the atmosphere. The competition also featured participation from invited schools, who joined in selected events and contributed to the friendly and competitive spirit of the day.
At the end of the keenly contested activities, Red House emerged as the overall winner of the 2026 Inter-House Sports Competition, earning well-deserved recognition for their outstanding performance.
Refreshments were provided for participants and guests, ensuring everyone remained energized throughout the event.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by the school Principal, who expressed gratitude to the organizers, participating schools, staff, students, and guests for their contributions to the success of the event. The closing prayer was then said, bringing the formal proceedings to an end.
The celebration continued with lively music and dance, as students and guests marked the successful completion of another memorable Inter-House Sports Competition at All Saints Secondary School, Oyigbo
